Pruning is an operation which consists in reducing the length and the number of the branches or the branches of the trees.
It is intended :
. To reduce the load of the remaining parts of the tree
. To remove the sick parts
. To improve the production or to give an artificial form to the plant.
The artificial face prevents rotting and accelerates the cicatrization of the wounds
